The millionaire, socialite daughter of R&B singer Lionel Richie may not be the first person to spring to mind when you think of social conscience, but Nicole Richie is certainly a good signifier of what’s considered ‘hot’ on the LA party scene at any given time – and the news is in: Nicole’s gone green.
Nicole Richie is the proud owner of the most fashionable of hybrid cars, the Toyota Prius, and has also been seen shopping for vintage clothes in LA markets.
Nicole was also spotted at the Environmental Media Awards in 2005 as a guest; and – along with Rob Schneider – presented the star-studded bash last year.
Perhaps there’s hope for the girl after all?
